slacker astronomy

so I saw my first podcast of slacker astronomy, brainchild of my best friend pam and her astro cronies. it was a total riot. I was the silent studio audience, or, almost silent studio audience because some things I just had to laugh out loud at. these guys are great. they make the science so easy I almost understood it. *grin* or, mostly almost understood it. I was so proud of myself for actually having read something they talked about w/o pam’s direction ahead of time. ;o)

podcasting is interesting. turns out I’ve got the software for it on my new laptop and perhaps I shall give it a go sometime in the future. I’ve got a fairly good voice, tho not of the *ahem* same quality as pam’s was tonight. hehehehe. all I need now is to buy a microphone and figure out what to ramble on about.

suggestions for rambling?

go visit their website: http://www.slackerastronomy.org

listen to the podcasts. you’ll be glad you did. and spread the word, while you’re at it. :o)
