you're reading...

hoping again

so I got a response to my logline submission of last week asking for the full script. I submitted that yesterday and this morning got a form response, “don’t call us, we’ll call you.” see, this is almost worse than an automatic rejection because now my hopes are raised for the next two weeks until I get the rejection. which I almost certainly will, since their mission is to find “commercial” projects from new writers.

commercial? me? *snort* I probably should’ve read that part first, though I thought I’d gone through the whole site with a fairly fine-toothed comb.

in any case, keep your fingers crossed that a) I don’t go nuts obsessing while I wait and b) they buy Ashes.
