that kinda spring…

well, things were going along swimmingly until I sprained my ankle in april. twice. second time put me in the hospital, so yay. I was out of work for a little over a month which sent me back to the drawing board. now, one would think I could get a lot of writing done in that time but really, bupkis. pain’s bad for creativity. that kind of pain, anyhow. ;o)

the good news is that I’m (literally) back on my feet again and hopefully getting a long-term gig very soon so I can catch up trivial things like, oh, rent. *headdesk*

in writing news, I have finished a nearly done draft of my newest novel, Dark Night. there’s just the editing to go through before I submit it. I am much, much, much prouder of it than I am of Mind Games. Not that MGs is bad or anything, but this is just tremendously better. I love the characters, the world, and just everything about it. I’ve already started book 2 and can easily see a third, fourth, and fifth coming from different povs, just to keep things interesting.

in other writing news, I have 2 new assignments on the horizon! one of these days, I’ll even get paid.

also, I am on the official prowl for an agent, so if anyone knows of one looking for new, outstanding talent, send ’em my way. :o)
