I’m a little bored with my food choices, but in the 7 weeks since going raw, I have lost 20lbs and around 2 inches all over.
I have also discovered that coconut milk is very sweet, that papayas have seeds that look like huge caviar (ew), and that unsulfered, unsweetened pineapple rings taste are a lot like Bit o’ Honey in that it takes a loooong time to eat even one ring.
it’s a food journey, that’s for sure and for the most part, I’m enjoying it. I’m certainly eating things I wouldn’t have without the choice to go raw.
now, aside from the weight loss benefit, my scalp no longer flakes (Refuses to call it dandruff), my skin is waaayyyy better (refuses to say it looked bad before), and I sleep better.
the only downsides that I’ve seen so far are more frequent cold sores (altho I think that’s stress more than food choices) and going out to eat with others. salads get pretty damn boring after a while, esp if you don’t like lettuce, as I don’t.
