why yes, I am a glutton for punishment…

because I absolutely need a new writing project (or three), I will be participating in this year’s NANOWRIMO. Not quite as ambitious as the 3Day Novel Contest, I know, but then, I also can’t use anything I’ve already got halfway done so I’m starting from scratch.

For those not in the know, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and is a non-profit contest to write a novel in thirty days, during November. There’s no prize but the satisfaction of a sleep-deprived, ambition-laden month of writing. And, of course, the satisfaction of rubbing it in others’ faces should you actually complete a novel during that month a job well done.

the main page link is:

and my page is:

for those who are playing the home game and might wish to read what I’m writing, you can check that page or just read here, as I’ll be posting to lj as well (yes, I’ll remember the cut tags! promise!).

wish me luck!
