she is so fickle. on the one hand, I’ve written two chapters this week. yay! on the other hand, neither of them were for nano. plus, one was just for fun and not even publishable. boo? *thinks* nah. all writing is to be celebrated.
tomorrow is nano day for me. I plan to load up the laptop, toddle over to Brick’s (local cafe) and hunker down. the plan is to write 3 whole nano chapters to make up my lack of nano word count. plus anything more that the muse decides to throw at me.
this does bring up a minor quandary though. my usual cheerleader has defected to waiting to read this nano novel until it’s finished. she’s a “must have every world facet in place ahead of time” kinda girl, which I get. still, I always write better and faster with an audience. (yes, television is a good medium for me for this reason alone *grin*) I think being somewhere public and not at my sidewalk special desk locked in my room will help that somewhat. plus I’m sure there will be other nanos typing away at Brick’s, not that we’ll be interacting all that much since we’ll be, you know, writing.
anyone want to volunteer to be my nano cheerleader and read this thing as it’s written and give me comments as I write?
