Guardians of the Galaxy review – No Spoilers

hr_Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_46 I have officially seen Guardians in regular and 3D now and all I can say is… EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! *ahem*

So, I have to admit that I’ve never read these comics, but they are officially on my list now. ALL of them and they are many from what I’ve seen on amazon. This movie is, without a doubt, the best scifi movie I’ve seen in forever. Seriously. I don’t even count it as a comic book movie – though it is – because it all takes place in space. (Well, and not reading the comics probably helps with that impression ;o))

Characters: totally distinct and awesome and complete. Plot: fast-paced with awesome continuity and humor. (also a weepy spot at the beginning, so be prepared for that) Acting: also awesome. Directing: also awesome. Really, the only thing that didn‘t scream awesome to me was seeing it in 3D; it made things seem cartoonish to me. Save your pennies and see it as a regular flick. Oh! And stay to the very end of the credits for an extra extra scene.

If you haven’t seen Guardians, what the frak are you waiting for? Go! Now! 😀
