Has It Really Been That Long?

Good lord! My last post was in January!

This year really has been one of those “blink and you miss it” years. In my defense, a lot’s gone on in my life these last six months: I had ankle surgery, my job changed… okay, maybe not that much quantitatively, but it was enough to keep my energy firmly occupied elsewhere.

I have, however, been writing off and on all this time. I’m on draft 3 of a new scifi pilot. I’m on book 2 of my Epic Fantasy series. I’m on draft 2 of book 2 of my fun scifi series. I’m halfway through my cozy lesbian mystery. And I’m so close to being done with my zombie novella: Fat Girl Finds Love At The End Of The World! Very excited about that one! (why wouldn’t I be? It has my two fave things: true love and zombies!)

I’m catching up on movies in the theater now and so I’ll have reviews coming in the next few weeks, though you’ll likely have already seen them by that point. (Wonder Woman! Pirates! Guardians! It Comes At Night! The Mummy!) And if you haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, what are you waiting for?? GO NOW!

I’ve also managed to think up a few blog posts about writing that I think you’ll enjoy.

Thanks so much for sticking with me! The second half of this year is going to be awesome!
